Envirotainer, the active temperaturecontrolled air transportation solutions provider has announced a premium partnership Emirates SkyCargo.

The new agreement provides Emirates SkyCargo with a dedicated Envirotainer account manager, broad access to R&D and consulting services, as well as high levels of fl exibility to ship across both companies’ networks and beyond.

Emirates SkyCargo has co-operated with Envirotainer since 2003, and the carrier has established specifi c handling procedures to protect temperature-controlled shipments. The announcement about the new agreement coincides with Envirotainer’s decision to make Dubai one of its network stations.

Envirotainer has also extended its partnership with Air France Cargo-KLM Cargo “to serve the pharmaceutical market with active temperature controlled air cargo solutions.” Separately, Kuehne + Nagel is the fi rst freight forwarding and logistics organisation to gain accreditation at multiple stations for Environtainer’s QEP (Qualifi ed Envirotainer Provider) program designed to meet the quality requirements of the healthcare industry.

Kuehne+Nagel has been awarded QEP accreditation at 29 stations in Europe and North America and in line with its commitment to gaining worldwide QEP accreditation across its network, the company will also roll out the program at its locations in the Middle East, Asia Pacifi c and South America.
