Despite the easing of the global demand for electronic components, DHL Express Philippines is expecting an increased trade in the local small and medium enterprises and the retail sector.

Larry Llamzon, country manager of DHL Express Philippines, said DHL remains confident about the Philippine economy. The company has recorded good growth in the Philippines over the years. The challenge for us is to maintain our head start this year by continuously outperforming ourselves,” Llamzon stated.

DHL has recently rolled out a complete suite of innovative products and services. Two of its latest product enhancements are Import Express Online (IEO) and Shipper’s Interest Insurance (SII).

The Import Express Online is web-based solution that automates DHL’s existing Import Express product offering. IEO allows senders the convenience of shipping with one account number, one price in local currency, one billing invoice and shipment visibility. – Edu Lopez
