According to Ari HK Pane, managing director of the RPX Warehouse, the new building which stands on a site of 7,540 square meters, is designed to make the whole air-cargo delivery process to and from the airport easier and safer.

RCB is equipped with modern facilities such as X-Ray machines, dock leveler, acceptance digital scales, storage areas, build up custer decks, and scissor lifts.

The new facility has the capacity of 200 tonnes each for inbound and outbound cargoes, while its old (fi rst) facility only has the maximum capacity of 70 tonnes.

According to Joesoef, the Rp30 billion-facility will be operated on a 20-year concession with airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II under a builtoperate- transfer system.
