Singapore-based Cargo Community Network (CCN), a leading provider of internet portal services to the airfreight industry, has boosted its network of airline connections with Asiana Airlines of South Korea being the latest global carrier to sign on for services of CCN.

The airline will utilise CCN’s comprehensive range of services to comply with C2K Common Data Management Platform (CDMP) and to facilitate better communications electronically with their agents as well as customs authorities in countries that require advanced manifest reporting.

Currently, CCN is connected to 27 major international and regional airlines. Besides CCN’s fl agship product, CCNhub, the company has developed a range of comprehensive products to enable players in the airfreight industry to achieve their bottom line in the most effi cient way.

CCNhub is a secure, carrier neutral portal that cuts the costs and provides a major step forward in the way of simplifying air cargo shipment processes through management of electronic bookings, exchanges of critical shipment data and receiving proactive shipment status updates. CCNhub handled more than two million e-bookings in 2006.
